Bum Bum Cream 🍑

I LOVE a good body cream. I have quite a large collection, from lightweight, fragrance free, exfoliating or super thick, I have a body cream for every occasion! I love the way that feeling super hydrated and soft, paired with a delicious scent, can really boost your mood.

This specific cream is ICONIC! The Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (pronounced boom boom) has become super popular not just for it’s fun yellow packaging, but also it’s dreamy summery scent and thick, smooth texture. This is my second tub because I’m that obsessed.

The formula itself is lovely as it provides hydrated, nourished and soft skin. It has a potent blend of cupuacu butter, acai and coconut oil as well as guarana extract which is an Amazonian plant that contains caffeine, which help to boost and stimulate circulation as well as hydrating and toning your skin. It is called the ‘Bum Bum’ cream as it is also meant to aid in minimising cellulite. Whilst I don’t use this product regularly enough to see any toning benefits, it always makes my skin feel fabulous.

Personally, I love the ‘cheirosa ‘62’ scent which is housed in all of Sol de Janiero’s Bum Bum products. It is a warm mix of pistachio, salted caramel and vanilla. Whilst the scent isn’t for everyone, it always reminds me of summer, sun and beaches. If you don’t like it, they do sell a fragrance free version as well. A huge plus of this product is also the giant tub, it’s not the cheapest body cream but it does last for ages.

I have lots of Sol de Janeiro products in my collection as they feel really luxurious, smell amazing and make me feel fabulous. The Bum Bum Sol Oil SPF 30 is another favourite and their SPF 50 sunscreen stick is also great for on the go (although sadly it may have been discontinued L)
